Synopsis

The Snows of Kilimanjaro: Based on a Hemingway story, The Snows of Kilimanjaro stars Gregory Peck as Harry Street, a popular author on safari in Africa. Injured in a hunting accident, Street feels a need to justify his life. Although he has continually produce successful novels, Street determines that he compromised his talent in order to sell books. He also pines over his lost love, Cynthia Green (Ava Gardner) who he gave up for the sake of his writing. Only through the kindness of his neglected wife, Helen (Susan Hayward), can he discover that his life has not been wasted.
The Man with the Golden Arm: Drummer Frankie Machine is out of detox and eager to get on with his big band career. He´s kicked his habit, he´s sure. But the habit kicks back. "The Man with the Golden Arm" is a milestone movie with Frank Sinatra giving a piercing, Academy Award-nominated portrayal many call his best. Included on this disc is the featurette "At The Movies With Frank Sinatra", which offers interviews, trailers, and behind the scenes footage.
