Synopsis

Harold Lloyd´s World of Comedy is a compilation film of the famed silent-comedy star´s favorite clips, lovingly assembled by Harold Lloyd himself - the master of slapstick stunts. The film highlights choice moments from such Lloyd silent features as Safety Last (1923), Why Worry (1923), Hot Water (1924), Girl Shy (1924) and The Kid Brother (1924). Also included are several scenes from Lloyd´s ‘talkies´: The train chase from Professor Beware (1938), the magician´s coat routine from Movie Crazy (1932), and the climb down the side of a building from Feet First (1930).The film was actually finished two years before its debut, but Lloyd was such a perfectionist, that he held up its release in order to refine it based on audience reaction to extensive preview screenings. We believe you´ll agree...the final film was worth the wait. A must for all Harold Lloyd fans. 98 min, B/W, 1962. "3 Stars. Delightful comedy scenes show why Lloyd was so popular in the 1920´s.
