Synopsis

When your life depends on losing the last thing you need is lady luck!
Bernie Lootz (Macy) is an unlucky guy, everything he touches turns bad. However, his ill fortune is actually the one thing he depends upon to do his job to the best of his abilities; Bernie is the best `cooler´ in town.
Working in one of Las Vegas´ few remaining golden age casinos, Bernie is employed by the ruthless Shelly (Baldwin) to end the winning streak of anyone whose luck is on the up. After years in the bad luck lane Bernie is ready for a change for the better, and, having met hard-bitten Naralie (Bello), his fortunes turn around. However, having lost the ability to `cool´ a winning streak, an unhappy Shelly is determined to ensure that Bernie never feels happiness again...
