Synopsis
Eleni tells the real life story of Nicholas Gage and his search for the truth behind his mother´s untimely death.
Her torment at the hands of rebel guerrillas has forever plagued her son, Nick (Malkovich). Now an adult and a journalist for the New York Times, Nick travels back to his small village in Greece to uncover the truth and exact revenge against those responsible.
With only childhood recollections of the tragic incident to guide him, in a series of haunting flashbacks, Nick´s obsessive investigation leads him closer and closer to the man responsible for Eleni´s death.
