Synopsis

In the mid-sixteenth century two indigenous Americans are working on a seam of clay in the Cerro Colorado. Suddenly, they see a column of Spanish soldiers approaching from the distance. Two Franciscan priests are marching at the head of the procession carrying a wooden cross and a beautiful gold chalice. The meeting is unavoidable …. Five hundred years later a small airplane lands on a desolate landing strip in the Andean high plateau. Pedro, a Spaniard wearing a priest’s cassock, gets out. His task is simple. He has to hand over a case of money and return with the cocaine to be sold. However destiny has other plans in store for him..
